I have mixed feelings about T shirts. On one hand, they’re easy and comfortable to wear. On the other hand, they can sometimes lack a certain level of polish. From a sewing perspective, they’re rewarding because they’re quick and easy – but they can also get boring to sew very quickly.

2017 is officially here, and I have some feelings. Some plans too, but first some feelings. This post comes to you in two parts.
I really like statement pieces. I like being loud, or forceful, or aggressive without having to even so much as open my mouth. The hair, I know, is pretty loud all on its own, but sometimes there’s no substitute for a punchy dress.

It’s been a good while since I sewed for someone else, and I didn’t really imagine the spell would be broken in this particular way, but… well. Here we are, one terribly excellent polyester tropical shirt (and its linen friend) later.
